Rockville occupies approximately 2.1 square kilometres to the north of the Central Business District. Bordered by Hogg Street to the North, Tor to the West, Mort to the East and Clearview Street Park to the south, Rockville has a population of 3300 people. The suburb has a medium population density of around 1600 people per square kilometre.The average age of people living in this suburb is 35 years which is younger than the national average of 37 but equal to the average age of people living in Toowoomba. 20.8 per cent of people living in Rockville are under 15 years of age and 15.4 per cent are between 15 and 24 years of age. 36.9 per cent are aged 25 to 54.
