Grand Central

Grand Central Shopping Centre was built in stages between 1996 and 1999. Target, Coles and 30 specialty stores were opened first, followed by Myer, the food court, and 40 additional specialty stores. The centre was officially completed with the addition of the Birch Carroll and Coyle Cinema in June 1999.

Featuring a diversity of specialty stores rivaling any shopping centre in Queensland, Grand Central offers the people of the Darling Downs a first-class shopping experience.

The Customer Service Desk is located on Level 2 and provides information about retailers, upcoming events and bus timetables. It also administers lost property, sells Grand Central gift vouchers, and hires out wheelchairs, motorised scooters and prams. Wheelchairs, motorised scooters, prams and strollers are offered free of charge and can be booked up to two weeks in advance.

Parent's Rooms are located on Level 1 and Level 2. A Midwife from Saint Vincent's Hospital is available at no charge Wednesday through Saturday from 10:00am to 2:00pm in the Level 2 Parent's Room to assist parents.
