Clifford Gardens
Clifford Gardens

Featuring Woolworths, Big W, Supa IGA, Australia Post and the Coffee Club, as well as many other speciality stores, Clifford Gardens is the second largest shopping centre in Toowoomba. Clifford Gardens is a banking hotspot. ANZ, Bank of Queensland, Bendigo Bank, Heritage Building Society, NAB, Queensland Teachers Credit Union, Suncorp Metway and Westpac are all located here, making Clifford Gardens a great place to compare financial services.

Clifford Gardens is blessed with numerous skylights which let in natural light and create an open, airy feel. The shopping centre has ample parking spaces and 50 or so undercover car parks (don’t tell anyone about these!) and is located conveniently on the corner of James Street and Anzac Avenue.

Gardentown
Gardentown

Gardentown was originally launched as a ‘Factory Outlet’ however has gradually lost that title. The centre has a Supa IGA, Best and Less, Lincraft and Australia Post among other stores. A Loot Direct store and Loot Café are also located here.

Gardentown is conveniently located on Margaret Street, close to Ruthven Street, and is one of the few places in Toowoomba with Sunday trading (note: some shops choose not to open on Sundays).

On Margaret Street, very close to the centre of town, Grand Central overlooks the recently redeveloped West Creek and the City Library. With two levels of shopping, and multiple levels of undercover car spaces, Grand Central really is Toowoomba’s premier shopping destination. Read more.

Kmart Plaza

Kmart Plaza is very close to the Harvey Norman Centre however there is no direct access between them. That centre features Harvey Norman, Amart All Sports, The Warehouse and Crazy Clarks as well as House and Garden and Everyday Living.

The Ridge Shopping Centre

The Ridge is perhaps Toowoomba’s newest shopping centre. It has a massive Woolworths store and undercover parking. The shopping centre features Weis Backdoor, Gordy’s Café, Ella Bache and Bendigo and Westpac Banks, as well as a chemist, health food store, optometrist, butcher and two hairdressers. Small and compact, The Ridge provides the residents of the southern suburbs of Toowoomba with the essential services in a modern environment.
